Maxillo-facial and Oral Surgeon Port Elizabeth
Dr Ashwin Kassan is a Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeon practising full time at the Netcare Greenacres Hospital in PE. Dr Kassan is also a part time Senior Consultant at the Livingstone Hospital. Dr Kassan completed his undergraduate training in dentistry at Wits University and his postgraduate training in Maxillofacial and Oral surgery at the University of the Western Cape. Thereafter, he completed post graduate diplomas in Implantology and Forensic Dentistry. Dr Kassan completed his Registrarship at Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross Hospital.
He is on numerous dental, maxillofacial and Implantology societies both locally and internationally. Since 1997, he has attended various local and international congresses related to both maxillofacial and oral surgery and Implantology and lectured on various topics related to his field of practice. His working experience includes all aspects of maxillofacial and oral surgery.
Dr Kassan is the Secretary and Head of Marketing and past Treasurer of the South African Society of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeons (SASMFOS).
